I tried to figure out how cata xp works based on the wiki’s calculator (sorta effort) (2025)

Firstly, 300 is added to your dungeon score in the calculations if this is one of your first 5 runs on that floor EVER
Your score is then multiplied by the floor’s multiplier

That’s your base cata xp, then there’s a bunch of bonuses. All of these are MULTIPLICATIVE unless otherwise stated.

• Your first 5 runs each day on that floor give +40% xp
• Each % of extra secrets over the amount you need for 100 explore score gives +0.5% xp, up to +50% if you get all secrets (no I have no clue how this works in f7/m7)
• Each previous completion of that floor gives +2% xp, capped at +152% (thanks hypixel)
• Catacombs expert ring, derpy, and hecatomb are additive to each other

And finally, if you’re bad and get class milestone 2 or lower, you get less cata xp
Milestone 2: 1/2 xp
Milestone 1: 1/4 xp
Milestone 0: no xp
(On entrance you just get normal xp)

TLDR: cata xp is unnecessarily complicated and is also probably the only thing in the game where there’s more multiplicative bonuses than additive ones

ok so
if the skyhelper bot is correct
it tells me around 30 runs to cata 24
when in reality when playing i only did like 20 to get to cata 30
not dailies btw

I thought only the first one is boosted because on floor 5 I get more on my first run then the second
